I want to provide hope and courage for those who want to be free from the shame of addiction or other struggles. Beginning on this journey requires bravery to leave behind previously held thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I want to help as you establish a foothold, a starting point and a renewed spirit of commitment.

If you are struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors or other issues, I know you may find yourself in a place of shame, denial, confusion, fear, frustration, and even hopelessness. I will meet you wherever you are right now, and walk with you as you find your way. There is a path forward, and you do not have to do it alone.

As a practicing Pediatrician for 25 years, I journeyed with many families through life-changing events—birth, death, disability, behavioral challenges, life-threatening illness, chronic disease, along with more ordinary day-to-day struggles. As a husband of more than 33 years and a father, I’ve also faced challenges within my own family.

I believe a solid counseling relationship must grow out of authentic connection. I will laugh with you, I will cry with you, and most importantly, I will listen. I am inspired by each of my clients and I consider the time we spend together to be a sacred space.

As my client, I believe you have the strength within you to make positive and constructive choices. I also know it takes courage to seek out counseling. We will work collaboratively to develop goals for our time together. This is your time, and your safe space to process difficult feelings, explore conflicting thoughts, and find new meaning.

I bring a variety of life experience to my counseling practice. I have journeyed through many highs and lows in more than 33 years of married life, 32 years of motherhood, and 22 years of working as an attorney in a fast-paced corporate litigation environment.
